This astonishing print is inspired by Nick Walker’s paintings entitled “Handle With Care”. The original artwork, released in 2021 as a series of paintings, is making its comeback as limited edition prints. The image has a few avenues for interpretation. From one point of view, we can see it as a tribute to idealists who hold optimism for love close to their hearts. On the other hand, the heart can be a ticking bomb waiting to go off if you don’t handle it with care. Love, no matter how beautiful it is, can be a cruel mistress. It can be a blessing or a pain, and no one is more inspired than a wounded or love-drunk artist. Nick Walker has a brilliant way of visualizing the deep, complex inner workings of the human mind and its connection with matters of the heart, all perfectly wrapped in his brilliant sense of humor. He shows the beauty and trouble of love, the ease at which we get lost in it if we don’t handle it with care.
