The father of the Sexy Robot revolution Hajime Soryama is partnering with a Swiss watch manufacturer of luxury watches Roger Dubuis. After luxury art toys, and incredible Bearbrick figures, Hajime Sorayama is back with another exquisite project. Yes, Hajime Sorayama is taking his sexy robots to another level.
The Swiss watchmaker has just unveiled a limited edition watch with the world-famous Japanese artist that reflects his disruptive oeuvre. The new Excalibur Sorayama Monobalancier watch will be produced in only 28 pieces.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Sorayama Monobalancier is the third entry in Roger Dubuis’ Urban Culture Tribe series, which has already seen collaborations with tattooist Dr. Woo and graffiti artist, Gully.
“The Excalibur Sorayama MB is a perfect blend of two worlds, with Roger Dubuis’ and my signature both recognizable at first sight. I’m thrilled we were able to bring such a hyper-expressive timepiece to life. By pushing our limits, we’ve created a distinctive moiré and a singular masterpiece.”

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Sorayama Monobalancier features a 42 mm polished titanium case, and bracelet that echoes Sorayama’s 3-D sculptures. It also comes engraved with the watchmaker’s monogram and Sorayama’s name. The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Sorayama Monobalancier is available as a limited edition of 28 pieces, available first in Japan, with a price upon request.
