Biography

TwoFlü is a well-known Spanish visual artist and graffiti writer. He is renowned for his combination of calligraphy and abstract painting. By often flirting with those two styles, Twoflü creates mesmerizing pieces of art. From a very young age, Twoflü was immersed in hip-hop culture and fascinated with graffiti. This kind of expression has been very important in his life. In 1995 and 1997 he went with his school to NY and these experiences were so intense for him that decided to travel and paint as a way of life.

Living as a nomad from 2001 until (2018) we can observe in his style the mixture of typical "tag" of graffiti with influences of classic calligraphies from Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka where he spent long periods of his life.

From 2015 to 2018 he lived in Ibiza, where he worked for the unique Heart Ibiza. This incredible place was a creation of Cirque du Soleil and the Adria Brothers contributing to his art he decorated with many murals and was also part of the arts in the show. He painted murals on almost every place he has visited because, in his nomadic life, detachment and a deep understanding of impermanence led him to a feeling of big joy of just painting, leave behind and keeping going.

Based in Mallorca island since 2018 he had the opportunity to start painting on big-sized canvases in the studio. Apart from creating poetic murals, Twoflü has exhibited in many galleries, participated in art fairs, and collaborated with prominent brands.
