The boys are back in town! Yes, this is the cherry on the top of the cake as we wrap up this year. The new Medicom Toy’s Bearbrick Series 45 box finally saw the light of day. But before we get our hands on these new Bearbrick figures, let’s examine them and see what is what and what is hidden in the new Bearbrick Series 45. Let’s round up the new suspects and see what the fuss is all about.
We all have been waiting for them, especially us, the Bearbrick buffs. The “usual suspects” will be represented by categories: Basic, Flag, Jellybean, Pattern, Animal, Artist, Science Fiction, Horror, Hero, and Cute.
The new Bearbrick series 45 is featuring 21 designs (of which 6 are secret), and 11 different themes, and every Bearbrcik figure is 70mm tall. So, here they are. Each sealed case includes 24 blind boxes, with randomly assorted 100% Bearbrick figures inside.
Bearbrick Series 45
1) Bearbrick Basic 100% Series 45 — We kick off the list of all Bearbrick figures from the Bearbrick Series 45 with this bad boy. This Berabrick figure from the Series 45 Basic genre has the letter B from the name Bearbrick displayed on its front.
2) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Jellybean — Jellybean lovers, this one is for you. This style from the Jellybean genre in the Bearbrick Series 45 blind box release features a Bearbrick figure completely covered in Jelly beans, small bean-shaped sugar candies with soft candy shells, and thick gel interiors.
3) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Pattern — This style from the Pattern genre in the Bearbrick Series 45 blind box release features green camouflage. The green color of the steeply overgrown trees evokes an unknown sense of caution, but once you get it on your side, it becomes the color of “safety”.
4) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Flag of Scotland — This style from the Flag genre in the Series 45 blind box release is from Scotland. The flag of Scotland is a white X-shaped cross (a saltire), which represents the cross of the patron saint of Scotland, Saint Andrew on a blue sky. The flag is called Saint Andrew’s Cross or the Saltire.
5) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Horror Emily The Strange — Emily is a sharp-witted and rebellious young woman with a taste for invention, philosophical musing, scientific experimentation, and radical artistry.
6) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 SF Space Sheriff Gavan — Coming from the Science Fiction genre, Space Sheriff Gavan, armed with a Combat Suit and other high-tech weapons/vehicles, is a young space warrior who fights to protect the Earth from the evil Makuu Empire, which holds his father captive. This is a famous Japanese Tokusatsu series.
7) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Cute Rilakkuma — Fancy something cute? “Rilakkuma”, a fictional teddy bear character, means “Bear in a relaxed mood”. At all times and everywhere Rilakkuma is continuously lazy and relaxed. Rilakkuma is totally stress-free and also does things at Rilakkuma’s pace.
8) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Animal Baby Puss The Flintstones — Remember The Flintstones’ pet saber-toothed cat? Well, Baby Puss is a famous cat that is always seen throwing Fred Flintstone out of the house during the end credits, causing Fred to pound repeatedly on the front door and yell “Wilma!”, waking the whole neighborhood in the process.
9) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Hero Black Adam — Superhero fans gather around. The Black Adam Bearbrick figure is an antihero who was an ancient Egyptian slave who received the powers of the Wizard Shazam. One of the world’s foremost wielders of magic, Black Adam has been both hero and villain over a life that’s spanned thousands of years.
10) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Artist Tom Billington Dynamite Kid — British wrestling legend “The Dynamite Kid” Tom Billington is one of the most famous wrestlers. An innovative performer who combined high-flying maneuvers with British technical prowess, The Dynamite Kid left a deep mark in the world of wrestling.
11) Bearbrick 100% Series 45 Artist Inunokagayaki — This Bearbrick figure from the Series 45 is inspired by the famous illustrations Inunokagayaki of an ordinary Japanese girl with her daily adventures.
