The famous French street artist Nerone continues his tremendous art exhibition Digitalia at 2B Art Gallery Portals Nous. Paired with Mallorca tastes and music, the opening night is followed by a Mediterranean cuisine dinner brought to you exclusively by the chef Miquel Clar, next to the sea, on the terrace of the restaurant Astir.
DIGITALIA ART EXHIBITION
2B Art Gallery presents the DIgitalia art exhibition by Nerone, offering the opportunity to see the work of the famous French street artist from a unique perspective, bringing new insights into his vision of flowers and the world we live in.
“The art exhibition Digitalia is a reference to the Foxglove flowers – Digitalis being their Latin name. These extremely poisonous flowers, sometimes lethal, have always amazed me. The way in which these flowers naturally react to the human touch seems to be a revenge of nature against its destruction. I believe ecological challenges, including climate change and global warming are the most important issues we have to deal with today as a society. The name Digitalia also refers to the way in which more and more things, such as events, exhibitions, or meetings are now moved online, especially since the pandemic. Considering that absolutely everything is becoming digital, including art with NFTs, I believe it’s important to continue to produce real, tangible pieces of art in real life. To me it was important that my paintings in this exhibition oppose this trend through different mediums and formats, illustrating a more handmade, palpable side of art.”

Illuminating the seriousness of nature in artmaking, Nerone engages with and questions ideas, images, and language using only his brilliant art.
Nerone is a well-known French street artist who has conquered the art world with his sublime style of painting. By mixing floral art in an abstract style, Nerone brings the spotlight onto the colors and blooming appeal of the subject. His art is unique. The chaos on the walls or canvas does not reflect the meticulous and inventive process that allows him to capture the motion. Nerone’s art represents a fresh breath in the world of street art. His compelling works of art speak to viewers in a very absorbing and dynamic way with an unstoppably upbeat vibe.
Danny Fernández is a renowned Spanish DJ who performs in the finest clubs all over the world. Over the years, he became an integral part of all prominent techno events on Majorca, as he played in some of the best clubs all over the island: BCM, Riu Palace, Sala Fónica, Pachá, Gothic, Abraxas.
