“Boy Soldier” by Schoony

Through this exquisite hyperrealist sculpture named “Boy Solider”, Tristan Schoonraad aka Schoony confronts mortality, violence, and war in the world we live in.

Boy Solider presents a life-sized child holding a grenade, sporting a war helmet and looking lost and dejected. Shoony’s most awe-inspiring life cast sculpture  was created and first unveiled in front of the houses of parliament as a part of an anti-war protest.
