      Raised in Northern California in the early 1980s, artist Tavar Zawacki, formerly known by the pseudonym ABOVE, is an American abstract artist and former street artist best known for his ABOVE arrow artworks.

      Zawacki's artistic scope includes large-scale mural works as well as indoor artwork, and is distinguished by his use of hard-edged paint, geometric abstraction, and forced illusions of perspective.
